Turn what you're learning about yourself into support you can use every day.

If this feels familiar, you're in good company

You want to change everything at once?
I feel that too.

  • You understand yourself better since your diagnosis, but you still don't know where to start.
  • Several parts of life feel hard, and picking just one feels impossible.
  • Trying something new feels overwhelming before you've even begun.
  • When something doesn't work, it's easy to slip into blaming yourself.

None of that means you're doing it wrong.
A change that doesn't stick is useful information, not failure.

Meet your guide

I was diagnosed with ADHD and autism late in life.

I understand this from the inside. After my diagnosis I was in neurodivergent burnout, and I wanted to change everything at once.

What helped was going smaller. I picked one part of my day, tried one change, and noticed how it felt.

Using small steps like this is how I worked my way out of burnout. This course is that same process, written down so you can use it too.

That's what How to Be Neurodivergent is here for.

  • You have a personalized everyday routine built from what actually helps you.
  • You have a lighter version for low-capacity days, for when your usual steps feel out of reach.
  • You know how to adapt both as your life changes.
  • You have a process you can return to whenever you need it.

How it works

Change as a gentle experiment

No one-size-fits-all routine. Just small experiments, kind adjustments, and a routine that's truly yours.

  1. Choose

    A manageable starting point

Pick one area of your day to begin with, even when several parts of life feel difficult.

  2. Try

    One small experiment

Try a support and notice whether it helps, using simple observations about your energy and comfort.

  3. Decide

    Keep, adjust, or let go

When results are mixed, decide what to keep and what to change. Without self-judgment.

  4. Build

    A routine that fits you

Turn helpful changes into a personal routine, with anchors and reminders, plus a lighter version for low-capacity days.

  5. Revisit

    Adapt as life changes

Come back to your routine when life shifts, using what you've learned instead of starting from scratch.

Built from lived experience

No big promises. Just the small steps that helped me.

Everything on this page comes from my own experience as a late-diagnosed ADHD and autistic adult. No borrowed stories, no made-up numbers.

A kinder way to try things

You don't have to get it right the first time. Every experiment tells you something, even the ones that don't work out.

On hard days, you can use the lighter version of your routine. And if you step away for a while, you can pick up again whenever you're ready.
